The Story Behind 2nd Chance Physiotherapy Clinic

Every dream has a story, and mine began with my father.
In 2007, my father suffered paralysis, and it was physiotherapy that helped him regain his abilities and gave him a new lease on life. That experience changed my perspective and made me realise the incredible power of physiotherapy in transforming lives.
My father always wished for me to do something meaningful in this field. His experience, his faith, and his desire became the foundation of my dream.
After fulfilling my family responsibilities and honouring the commitments that mattered most to me, I finally took the step I had always hoped to take.
On 1st October 2022, I founded 2nd Chance Physiotherapy Clinic — a dream born out of my father's journey, strengthened by his wishes, and driven by my desire to help others find hope, regain movement, and reclaim their lives.
For me, this clinic is much more than a workplace. It is a tribute to my father, a reflection of my journey, and a commitment to giving people a second chance at recovery, independence, and a better quality of life.
Because sometimes, all it takes is a second chance to begin new life.

Dr. Richa Sharma is an orthopaedic and postnatal physiotherapist with expertise in neurological rehabilitation and posture correction. With 5+ years of experience, she supports patients with post-surgical joint recovery, spinal conditions, chronic pain and motor relearning following neurological injuries. Her postnatal care includes support for diastasis recti, pelvic girdle pain, C-section scar mobility and postural changes associated with pregnancy and lactation. Her approach combines hands-on manual therapy, dry needling and corrective movement re-education, guided by individual assessment.
